Affiliate disclosure

Last updated

CremaSpecs is paid by affiliate commissions. When you click a “Check price” button and buy something, the store or brand may pay us a percentage of the sale. This page explains how that works, who pays, and what it does and doesn't change on the site.

Most “Check price” buttons on this site go through a link of the form /go/⟨model⟩. It sends you to the store's or brand's page for that machine and tells the store you came from CremaSpecs. If you buy within the store's tracking window (usually 24 hours to 30 days), the store pays us a commission. The line “Affiliate link” under a button means that button works this way.

The price you pay is set by the store, not by us. An affiliate link does not add to it.

Who pays us

As of October 16, 2026 we are not yet enrolled in any affiliate program; buttons lead to the brand's or store's own site.

Some programs run through affiliate networks such as Impact and Awin. The network, not the store, tracks the click and pays out. We don't see who you are; we see a click, a date, and, if you buy, an order total.

Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, CremaSpecs earns from qualifying purchases. Buttons that lead to Amazon say so: “Check price at Amazon.”

Brands we cover without any partnership. 1Zpresso, Astoria, Bezzera, Cafelat, Casabrews, Chefman, Cuisinart, DF, Diletta, Eversys, Faema, Fellow, Flair, Franke, Gaggia, Gevi, Jura, KitchenAid, Mr. Coffee, Niche, Nuova Simonelli, Sanremo, Schaerer, Slayer, Smeg, Synesso, Timemore, Turin, Varia, Victoria Arduino, Wacaco, and WMF. These machines are rated and listed like every other one. They appear without a “Check price” button, and the page says so.

What a commission changes, and what it doesn't

  • It never changes a score. Every machine's score out of 10 comes from the same five rules applied to the same database fields. How we build it is on How we research.
  • It can affect order and picks. When we feature a machine as a pick, or decide which of two equally scored machines comes first, we choose among the machines we can link to. We say this openly rather than pretend otherwise.
  • Nobody pays for placement. No brand or store has paid to be listed, ranked, or featured. Brands don't send us machines, don't see pages before they are published, and can't buy a position in any list.
  • No coupons, no sponsored posts. There are no discount codes here, no paid articles, and no advertising.

Why this page exists

The Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) ask sites that earn commissions from links to say so clearly, where you can't miss it. That's why the “Affiliate link” line sits under every button and “This site uses affiliate links” sits in the footer of every page, not only here.

Questions

Ask us anything about how we earn money through the contact page. If a button goes to the wrong store or the wrong model, tell us; that's a data error, and we fix those first.
