By using CremaSpecs you agree to the terms below. They are short because the site is simple: we publish research about espresso machines, we earn commissions from some links, and we make no promises about what a machine will do in your kitchen.

What this site is

CremaSpecs publishes specifications, prices, measurements by third parties, owner review counts, and safety records for espresso machines and grinders sold in the US, plus a score built from those records. Everything is research from published sources. Each number has a source and a date; we explain the method on How we research.

What this site is not

  • Not professional repair advice. Pages about cleaning, descaling, and repairs summarize what manufacturers' manuals and other published sources say. Opening a machine's housing may void its warranty; boilers and steam wands run hot and under pressure. Follow the manual's safety section, unplug the machine, and let it cool before any service. If you aren't sure, use the brand's authorized service.
  • Not a safety certification. A UL, ETL, or NSF listing we report is the laboratory's record on the date we checked it, not our assessment of the machine.
  • Not a store. We don't sell anything. Prices, availability, shipping, warranty, and return terms belong to the store or brand and change without notice; the date next to each price is when we checked it.
  • Not health advice. Nothing here is advice about caffeine, diet, or health.

Some links earn us a commission, as explained on the affiliate disclosure. Those links are marked. Using them costs you nothing extra as far as we know, and the score of a machine doesn't depend on them.

Using our content

You may quote short passages, individual numbers, and single tables from this site if you link to the page they come from and keep the date shown next to the number. See How to cite this data. You may not copy the database, republish whole pages, or present our data as your own measurements. Automated bulk copying of the site is not allowed.

Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them to identify the machines we write about. CremaSpecs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or store named on the site.

Images taken from video reviews are credited to the channel in the image's title attribute with a link to the video. If you own an image and want it removed or credited differently, write to us.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep every number correct and dated, but we don't guarantee that any specification, price, measurement, or listing is accurate, complete, or current, or that any machine will perform as its maker claims. Decisions you make based on this site are yours.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CremaSpecs and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site, from reliance on its content, or from a purchase made through a link on it.

Links lead to brands, stores, videos, forums, and government databases we don't control. Their content and policies are theirs. A link is not an endorsement of the site it points to.

Changes

We may change these terms; the “Last updated” date at the top shows when. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
